Meet ASH!
Our beautiful Ash brings a majestic and calming peace to our program. He is a 10-year-old Thoroughbred retired racehorse who, at the height of his racing career, was incredibly successful and won a tremendous amount of money. Sadly, he contracted a horrible neurological disease and is now limited in his abilities. Despite these limitations, he shows tenderness, kindness, and gentleness to all who are in his presence. Simply being among him brings healing.

Hidden Talents
Initially, he was not even considered as a Therapy horse for our program. It took about 20 minutes with him to realize this guy can do it all!
Best virtue…Ash is absolutely the calmest Thoroughbred we have ever worked with.
He loves napping and visiting with his clients!

Ash is obsessed with horse treats and has to be limited to them only at night before bedtime!
Ash Today…
Ash proudly earned his Off Site Therapy Horse Certification before retiring from active service due to health concerns. While he no longer participates in therapy sessions, he continues to touch lives every day. Whether greeting visitors from across the fence or simply sharing his calm and gentle presence, Ash remains a beloved member of our herd. His beauty, kindness, and grace bring comfort to all who meet him!
